I have over 15 years of full time teaching experience in a combination of grades, K, 2, 3, and 4. I moved from teaching within a classroom to accepting a reading specialist position in a high poverty district. I taught reading interventions for three years before being asked to step in to an instructional coach roll for teachers. This is my current full-time position and I provide feedback and support to elementary teachers in the area of practice, data analysis, Common core methodology, rigor and appropriate curriculum development as well as selection and delivery of instruction. While I have experience in many subjects the one I have the most experience in and feel most comfortable teaching is Chemistry. I have taken and tutored high school students at my school on chem 1. Along with all of this I have also taken and passed chem 3 (physical chemistry) which is not offered anywhere in the nation at the high school level anymore. My teaching style involves mostly hands on work which helps the student understand what they are doing better.

I just finished my first year at CWI and am currently taking English 102 - took predominately English, editing, computer, marketing, and math classes.
