Experience Summary
As a graduate of Northwest Nazarene University (BA, History, 2000) and Boise State University (BA, Political Science, 1995), was very much driven to academic excellence. My degrees have enabled me to learn how to read and critically analyze content and to determine the credibility and reliability of the information I receive. These skills have enabled me to make evaluations regarding the messages I receive from other people and the media each day. I am then able to make a determination regarding it's validity and how I might help a student based on those evaluations.
Teaching Style
I have always enjoyed teaching and working with learners of all ages. I believe most people can learn and we all learn in a diffeent fashion. Some of us are visual, some auditory, some kinesthetic. I understand who to teach people in each modality by being firm, fair,a nd consistent with each individual. My goal is to use any method possible to help a chld learn and be a productive, responsible citizen in society. By being flexible in methodology yet firm, fair, and consistent in approach, I believe I can be successful in assisting any learner to be successful
