As I suffered through my younger years with Attention Deficit Disorder, I feel that it is extremely important to appeal to almost all of the senses when teaching. As for myself, I am definitely a visual learner, so I feel that visual aids are important. I am a big fan of hand outs in full color. You will often find me drawing a picture on the board. I feel it is important to hear it and see it, and if you can, touch it. Another important teaching style I implement, is watching my students and making sure they know how to do it. I encourage them to think for themselves and give them hints where needed. I think it is important for them to have some easy work to succeed with and build confidence. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy seeing students make progress, not only in academics, but also in learning life lessons from their study. I believe this is the real vocation of a teacher. Any metods can be used to teach such as TV documentaries, radio, activities and even movies with specific lessons about life. Information is only as good as what it is used for.
