Upon graduating from college, I began teaching as a music teacher for one year and then a middle school band director for three years in Talladega, Alabama. Upon moving to Georgia in 1977, I began teaching music and third grade classes in a primary school in Villa Rica, Georgia. I taught school, worked with the High School band and taught piano lessons for several years. I went back to college and received a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. I continued to teach both publically and privately as a teacher, a tutor and music teacher. As a former computer instructor, I can't tell you how much I miss teaching. Teaching was the one career in my life where I felt completely fulfilled. I truly love sharing my knowledge and being able to teach others. In addition to teaching, I am also a lifelong student. I have a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, an Associates Degree in Website Design and I am working towards an Associates Degree in Computer Programming. I am a life long learner of many subjects including but not limited to English, mathematics, sciences & technology, and interpersonal communication. I began tutoring as an undergrad at the University of California, while completing my BA in Economics. I gained invaluable experience tutoring the Advanced English-Core class for incoming freshman on an individual basis.
