Statistics is one of my top subjects!

In High School I excelled in Algebra, Geometry, and in Statistics and Probabilities. In High School I Passed Pre-Calculus satisfactorily. In college I excellled in College Level Algebra and Statistics courses, and tutored colleagues that were taking the same course. A Little Bit About Me...

I am kind of new to teaching. I have taught my little brother everything he knows, and I've been told I have a really good way of teaching. Younger students catch on very quickly to what it is I am teaching. If they don't catch on quick, then no problem. I'm very patient and never give up until a student understands the concept. I had no intention of teaching when I started my career in Psychology and the Analytical Chemistry industry. I continuously tried to improve my methadology to arrive at the right mix of stimulation and information to make the learning process as interesting as possible. Teaching the Physics of Xrays and chemical analysis does challenge one to keep assessing the learned content and modify as results indicate. The results of effective teaching and learning start with asking questions about the purpose of the instructions, how will the results of the learning be measured, and what is educational level of the students? I try to teach them how to learn, rather than the concepts of facts and numbers, what do the numbers mean?
