Algebra II is one of my top subjects!

In High School I excelled in Algebra, Geometry, and in Statistics and Probabilities. In High School I Passed Pre-Calculus satisfactorily. In college I excellled in College Level Algebra and Statistics courses, and tutored colleagues that were taking the same course. Right now I am helping out at Peterson Elementary School. The grade level that I am helping is kindergarten and I must say that I really do enjoy it. Last year I was helping out in Merced High School. The grade level that I was teaching was juniors and seniors the subject was Anatomy. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been fortunate to teach students at both ends of the learning spectrum. Four years ago, I decided to teach the remedial algebra courses at our high school. In doing so, I have built my repertoire of strategies to teach algebra concepts. I feel that my passion for the study of geometry combined with 21 years of teaching high school geometry, have made me a successful geometry teacher. In teaching a challenging subject like geometry to young students, I focus on vocabulary techniques and drawing diagrams that will make geometry as visual as possible.
I started college as a math major with a concentration in finite math. My goal was to work for a company using both my mathematics and computer programming skills.
