I graduated from Sonoma State with a BA in English, Single subject emphasis. I am taking a year off before I go back to get my teaching credential in reading. I am a credentialed teacher who has had 22 yrs. of teaching experience, ten years in elementary and twelve years in middle school. I majored in English Literature in college and have taught seventh and eight grade Language Arts for 12 years. As a Biology student at both Saddleback and the ultra competitive UCLA, I was able to achieve high marks in all of the core cirriculum. Subjects I am very familar with are physics, chemistry, math up to 1st semester calculus, biology and biochem.I also recieved an A in every english class I have ever attended. I have experience tutoring at Saddleback Community College in Mission Viejo Ca., mostly in math.

A Little Bit About Me...

My commitment to education can be found very simply. At 28 years old, I decided to go back to college to complete my final two years of school. I attained my BA 3 years later, having had to work full time to support my wife and two young children. My goal is, at some point, to return to school to attain my teaching credential, so I can fulfill my dream of being an English teacher.
