My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I am currently in college studying Creative Writing, and have written several stories.

I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English, with an emphasis on Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University online. I have been writing for almost twenty years, although I have been writing poetry since I was in high school. I have been published in a book of poetry (although it wasn't widely distributed), and I love to teach people about Shakespeare because of how much I enjoy learning about the time period and writing styles of the period.
I don't have a specific style. If you have questions, I am more than happy to answer them, and elaborate on what you're not understanding.

Learning can be fun!

My style is a learner centered one. I believe in guided learning, where the students make discoveries themselves while at the same time feeling supported and directed. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a fairly easy going personality, but know when to crack down if students are getting off topic or out of hand. I'm very approachable and happy.
I graduated from Sonoma State with a BA in English, Single subject emphasis. I am taking a year off before I go back to get my teaching credential in reading. The majority of my classes were geared towards the teaching of reading and writing and I feel confident in my ability to help students improve in those areas. My commitment to education can be found very simply. At 28 years old, I decided to go back to college to complete my final two years of school.
