I realize that each student learns differently and thus should be approached differently. My teaching style is to exert patience and positive reinforcement for each style of learning. Children are not students. They are not tools, nor are they pieces of a larger machine. They are people, impressionable and as important as the rest of the world. So, then, why would we expect everyone to learn the same? To teach a child in any discipline requires, in some cases, finesse, and an ability to adapt to their needs.
