I am a graduate of Brigham Young University with a BA in English. Psychology and child development were part of my curriculum. When our children were all in school, I started substitute teaching K-12. I especially enjoyed working with K-5. I have worked as a substitute, permanent substitute and teaching assistant for about 13 years in the Concord School District (NH) and the Provo School District (UT). Some assignments were a few months long while teachers were recovering from surgery or illness. I had the opportunity to attend seminars on "Autism" and "Image Writing". I have always been good in math and sciences. I enjoyed teaching my friends and classmates. For this reason I started by tutering math courses at the University of Tenessee Knoxville. I believe that mutual respect and understanding is fundamental to a student-teacher relationship. A Little Bit About Me...
