I am a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). I worked at a public accounting (CPA) firm for 7 years. I love tutoring and teaching accounting. I am very friendly and easy to work with and establish positive working relationships easily. I worked as a tutor when I was in college. I recently sat for the CMA (Certified Managerial Accounting) Exam. I should be receiving my results soon. I believe I scored very high on the exam. I really enjoy tutoring and helping others out. I am very knowledgeable in the subjects of accounting, finance, and math. My tutoring style is one of explaining the subject matter in a logical easy to follow sequence. I am also very patient. Very much based on working with what the student knows. I tend to start by having them explain to me what they are doing and what they think. I then provide some guidance and walk through a sample problem with them. I ask that they try another problem like it on their own and ask questions to prompt them as they work.
