For the past year I have worked as a Software Trainer for the Finance department functions such as Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. I have aways been driven to master new educational challenges and enjoy coaching and training others. I have tutored Basic and Advanced Accounting at the college level a semester when in Memphis, TN. I excel in Accounting, English and Math to include Basic and Advanced Algebra. I have also worked indirectly with elementary and junior high school aged students. Teaching accounting is my passion. Out of all the subjects that I teach, I prefer accounting applications. I am an advisor for FBLA, "Future Business Leaders of America" where many of my students compete in accounting concepts. I have had many of my students to win and some are first through third place winners almost every year. After I graduated high school I went to a community college just to get the feel of college. I decided to major in speech because I was interested in correct speech. Not only how words were pronounced but also what mechanisms that are used to produce correct speech. I went on to Delta State University to pursue my Bachelor's in Speech and Hearing, and might I add they had a spectacular program. I learned a lot more than what makes a person have a speech disorder. I tutored at the local elementary school for two summers straigth and absolutely loved it. Children are a joy to work with becuase they are eager to learn. I feel that if you make it interesting for a child then their learning experience becomes something that they won't forget.
