I love to be able to pass along knowledge, which brings a sense of accomplishment and success to others of all ages. I am a patient and easy going person, who believes that everyone always truly wants to do their very best possible at all tasks including learning and academics.
For the past year I have worked as a Software Trainer for the Finance department functions such as Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. I have aways been driven to master new educational challenges and enjoy coaching and training others. I have tutored Basic and Advanced Accounting at the college level a semester when in Memphis, TN. My goal is really for the person I am tutoring to fully understand the information they are trying to learn. In this way, they can understand the basics and build upon that. I believe the best way to approach a new student is to find out their weaknesses and strengths. Then, really put some hard work into making their weak points better and making their strong points the best they can be. I think that it is best for a student to know how to do their work with AND without a calculator for full understanding in mathematics. Finally, I think it is important for a tutor to try to be a friend to the student so that the environment is comfortable and inviting for the best learning outcomes.

A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching accounting is my passion. Out of all the subjects that I teach, I prefer accounting applications. I am an advisor for FBLA, "Future Business Leaders of America" where many of my students compete in accounting concepts. I have had many of my students to win and some are first through third place winners almost every year. Several of my students that I teach have gone on to major in accounting in college, become enterprenuers and use their accounting skills to successfully manage their finances, and become CPAs, financial advisors or financial managers as a career.
