Experience Summary
As an mathematics tutor I have had the pleasure of tutoring my college peers. I have worked with Hawks Learning System Program, which is an College Algebra Software thats is used by the mathematics professors at Alcorn State University. Within completing my degree I have taken higher level mathematics courses such as Calculus I, II, and III, as well as Abstract Algebra, Foundations of Mathematics, History of Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Probability, Teaching Secondary Mathematics, Number Theory, Linear Algebra, and Statistics I just to name a few. I have worked hands on inside the College computer lab assisting my peers with their college algebra software and any other mathematical homework.
Teaching Style
I have had the pleasure to work inside the Natchez Adams School District as a Permanent Sub. I taught from the Mississippi Curriculum Framer. I completed my very own lesson plans following the district pacing guides. I am a strong believe of different learning styles, while doing so I try to accommodate each style of learning. I believe that every child can learn we just need to find a way of making it interesting to them.
