A Little Bit About Me...

I have just received my BA in E-Business management with a minor in Criminal Justice. I am beginning my Masters in Criminal Justice in March and will continue to a Dr. in the same field when possible. I do not have professional experience teaching however I have experience tutoring my niece who I have been responsible for since she was 5. She is now 12 and a straight A student. I tutored throughout school and was a teachers aid in Elementary school. I have 2 young boys of my own who will beginning school next year. I have tutored in writing, K-5 math, science and history. I also have tutored in Music including theory and playing. (Piano, Oboe, English horn, Trumpet, drums, guitar and a few other instruments)

A Little Bit About Me...

During my four years of undergraduate studies, I have spent three years tutoring in the subject area of English. While maintaining a full course load and working full time, I have managed to tutor over 107 students during this period. The majority of the material covered included essay writing at a college level, (scholarship essays, admissions essays, formation of a thesis paper, etc.). My senior year in high school I was a tutor for a second grade elementary class, assisting the teacher with reading exercises, as well as correcting various assignments. In college I took part in the Junior Achievement program, teaching economics curriculum to third graders during the spring quarter of my senior year. After college I volunteered at the Renton History Museum from March 2007 to February of 2009 and the Tampa Bay History Center from March of 2009 to May 2009.
