I have led several small groups of teenagers and young adults in Biblical studies at Prairie Hill Evangelical Free Church, several musical groups in practicing and performing, and a summer-long book club at Crown College. I realized through these experiences that I wanted to help people learn and become accomplished. Later, I decided to student teach in graduate school. I believe that all children have the potential to learn in whatever capacity they are given as long as a connection has been made with the child. Teachers need to look at each student individually and be able to capitalize on their strengths and weaknesses, rather than mold the student into a one size fits all lesson.
