I have led several small groups of teenagers and young adults in Biblical studies at Prairie Hill Evangelical Free Church, several musical groups in practicing and performing, and a summer-long book club at Crown College. In gaining my Associate of Arts degree from Crown College, I also led many study groups on subjects ranging from Chemistry to Physics, English Literature to Creative Writing.

I have taught for over 30 years in a variety of institutions, but mostly public schools. I believe that all children have the potential to learn in whatever capacity they are given as long as a connection has been made with the child. Teachers need to look at each student individually and be able to capitalize on their strengths and weaknesses, rather than mold the student into a one size fits all lesson.
