I graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in secondary math education. During my internship in the fall of 2006, I taught Algebra 2 Honors and Geometry. Upon graduation, I was hired to teach Algebra IB at Lakeland High School and taught there for the spring semester of 2007. Due to my desire to be closer to my family in Charlotte County, I attended the Lee County Job Fair in April of 2007 and was hired to teach Algebra 2 and Geometry at South Fort Myers High School. My style is to give detailed examples and descriptions and then let the students try to work through the problems I have selected for them. I know through years of schooling and interacting with peers people learn differently and do better or worse depending on the teacher they have and that teachers style.
