Experience Summary
During my years as an undergraduate student I took on extensive study habits that included working in study groups and tutoring other classmates who were struggling with material. In my undergraduate experience I have acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to comprehend extensive material including math, physics, chemistry, and life sciences. As an honors student I was required to speak in front of large groups of people and explain complex subjects in areas that I had researched. I have also had 3 years of coaching experience with children from pre-kindergarten to 3rd grade.
Teaching Style
In working with children I have learned that it is important to be excited about what you are teaching. That excitement is contagious and creates a desire to self learn and creates long term study habits. That excitement will be reflected in a students' progress as they gain more knowledge about a certain subject. My goal is to inspire a child to realize what they are able to accomplish through hard work and fun.
