Experience Summary
As a Chemical Enigineering graduate, I was exposed to many courses in higher level mathematics as well as all subject matter ranging from physics, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and biology. In addition, I have written many papers and essays, both scientific and artistic in nature. I have even been published in a scientific research journal as a co-author. For two years during college I tutored my fellow students in organic chemistry, averaging about 10 hours per week.
Teaching Style
My style is to give detailed examples and descriptions and then let the students try to work through the problems I have selected for them. Throughout a given session I coach the students by answering all their questions along the way and providing positive feedback. Through this method I hope for each student to increase their proficiency in the material by the end of the session. Each new session is begun with a review of the previously learned material. My style, can be best summed up as patient, methodical and constructive.
