I love to speak Spanish, especially with native speakers, something I have enjoyed doing since traveling with my Westwood HS Spanish Club to Hermosillo and Chihuahua in 1968 and 1969. My Spanish fluency blossomed in 1971, as I began living in Chile for two years, working occasionally with the Chilean Dept of Visas. Since then, I have traveled throughout Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Mexico. Teaching others to speak Spanish brings me great joy.

My comments on tutoring Grammar : Taught grammar for seven years in a special and general education classroom.

I believe in creating routines to add structure to the learning environment as most of my students progress better in a very structure classroom. I have been noted in my evaluations as making solid connections with most of my students by taking a personal interest in their academic progress.
