I began my career as a HS chemistry teacher in Lowville, NY. I taught for 3 years and then returned to graduate school where I was a teaching assisitant. I have been and adjunct professor at both the Univ of Vermont (1989 EE Dept) and Mercyhurst college (2003 Erie PA Chem Dept)and taught college level courses. I became a consultant in 1995 and also became a certified instructor for the Nat'l Assn of Surface Finishers (NASF) for various courses relating to plating and environmental science. I am an upcoming May 2006 graduate from Allegheny College, majoring in English. Given my background at a small, liberal arts college and being a former biochemistry major, I have a great understanding of language arts, math and science.
