I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry. I spent one year in an Americorps program called City Year in which I tutored/mentored at risk youth in an Algebra 1 intensive class in Miami, FL. I am currently in school to get by masters in education so I may teach chemistry. I have been and adjunct professor at both the Univ of Vermont (1989 EE Dept) and Mercyhurst college (2003 Erie PA Chem Dept)and taught college level courses. I became a consultant in 1995 and also became a certified instructor for the Nat'l Assn of Surface Finishers (NASF) for various courses relating to plating and environmental science. These courses are designed at the HS/1st yr college level and often require additional explanation to students. As a consultant I teach clients what I know to solve the problem they have hired me to correct. In addition I coach HS lacrosse and have continued to work with HS students over last 20 years.
