I recently graduated cum laude from the University of Rhode Island with two Bachelors of Science in Marine Geology and Maritime Law. I teach sailing and environmental education in the summers. This means very little however as I aspire, one day, to become a lighthouse keeper. Sadly, few can find such a position these days. I enjoy writing, science, mathematics, literature and most all music. When I taught sailing to young kids, I used to dress up like a pirate. I have lots of energy. I enjoy helping other people learn, and I get a sense of satisfaction when they grasp new information. I have tutored students needing help with homework assignments or studying for an exam. I requested that they bring their notes and textbook so that I use them as a reference when teaching. I can either answer specific questions or walk through the material.
