I have loved education and the process of learning since I was a child. Due to family issues, I dropped out at in the 9th grade but due to extensive reading most of my life on many subjects, and being gifted intellectually, thank God, I was enrolled in college at the age of 16. Due to my age, I lacked the discipline needed to succeed then so joined the Army at 18 and finished first in my class in their HS program. I continued going to college in the evenings an weekends until I completed my Master's degree, meanwhile raising 3 children and running a certified home daycare. I started out doing nanny work in college. After graduating in 1998, I moved to Detroit, Michigan to pursue a career in language studies. I became the Language Training Director for a language services company. I supervised a teaching staff of 150 instructors who gave language instruction to businessmen and women who were relocating for business purposes.
