A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is facilitative. I ask a lot of questions and require my students to practice a minimum of 3 examples in front of me for every technique I explain. I have a fun style and enjoy watching the confidence grow in my pupils. The only child that ever lost interest in what I had to say was my own. :)
I hold two bachelor's degrees from Mississippi State University. Both degrees were award under an International Business Major. I have taught German labs at the University level and can teach math whether geometry, trigonometry, algebra or pre-calculus.

A Little Bit About Me...

One of my greatest pleasures in life has been the opportunity to teach my children after school, help them with their home work, and teach them how to develop lifelong good study habits. I started a volunteer home work help resource in my home when I lived in North Carolina. It gives me great pleasure and a sense of pride when I see children excel in school because they have learned good study habits.
I am a graduate of Wake Forest University with a BS in Biology. I am also highly knowledgeable in Chemistry. My education at Wake Forest gave me the opportunity to develop great writing skills. Teaching is not something I had initially aspired to but found I am a teacher and motivator by nature. I love the challenge of figuring what pieces, educational, each student is missing and helping them fill the their gaps to reach the next level and have things come together for them.
