Hello...I am a certified English teacher for grades 6-12 and have been a 7th grade teacher the last 11 years at Matoaca Middle School. Before that, I was the sole English teacher for grades 9-12 at Kenston Forest, a private school. In total, I have 16 years experience in a classroom. Every year, I offer small group tutoring and have worked for a company and an elementary school (separately) tutoring students. I have been working at Hermitage High School in Henrico County as an English teacher for the past 4 years. I have taught 9th grade, but I have spent most of my time teaching 11th grade. I have taught a variety of "levels," from standard to college prep to honors. Every year I teach about 130 students.
