Hello...I am a certified English teacher for grades 6-12 and have been a 7th grade teacher the last 11 years at Matoaca Middle School. Before that, I was the sole English teacher for grades 9-12 at Kenston Forest, a private school. In total, I have 16 years experience in a classroom. Every year, I offer small group tutoring and have worked for a company and an elementary school (separately) tutoring students. I only really have experience from this from high school, and some personal experience in college. I am currently an English major, specifying in creative writing, at Virginia Tech. In high school, I took both of the offered AP English courses and passed with a 4 on both. In college, almost every class I have taken has been English-oriented, with regards to either literature or writing.
