I am a professional technical writer, published author (www.TheOtherWorlds.net), and produced playwright, with a passion for writing and drama.
I have several decades of experience as a writer, professionally and at an amateur level. The primary focus of my career has been in providing solid dependable technical writing and documentation for a number of industries, including: robotics, electronics, video, film, special effects, and government (DoD). Creatively, I write long and shot fiction, have published a novel and had a play produced by the American Southwest Theatre Company.
My experience in drama also goes back for several decades. I have directed and performed in dozens of plays, mostly at the community and college level, but some at the semi-professional level. I also have years of experience in the motion picture industry in Hollywood (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0378482/) and bring some insights to the table for those who are interested in the industry.
Teaching Style
I prefer to coach people - identifying and polishing their strengths while focusing on improving their weaknesses. The key is being a willing, disciplined, teachable pupil. Experience is good, eagerness is better. In time, your efforts will pay off.
