On the survey sheets that I've seen, I'm often praised for being very patient with students and very respectful of the students, no matter what their level of understanding. I typically spend very little time in verbal explanation, but a lot of time if running through examples with students so they can see the patterns for themselves... practice makes perfect. I've found that I really enjoy teaching students, especially those who are struggling, because of the satisfaction that comes with seeing the light come on. While studying Physics at Iowa State University, I first discovered my love for teaching and tutoring and have been doing it almost continuously since then.
