As a California State University graduate, I was driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned two bachelor of science degrees, BS in Biology and BS in Marine Biology, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing laboratory reports, essays and research papers. During the past four years I have tutored students in English and mathematics.

A Little Bit About Me...

I completed my Undergraduate Degree with a double major in Marketing and Finance and then went on to study in Graduate School for my MBA with a specialty in Financial Planning. I have also completed the coursework for my Certified Financial Planning Designation. I have been responsible for papers, essays, calculus, algebra, statistics, writing, language arts, biology and of course, finance, accounting and business. I took ballet for 9 years and have taught for the last 2 years. I teach ages 2.5 years - 8 years. I am also trained in Web Design. A Little Bit About Me...

I love helping children learn in a way that's fun and supportive. I strongly engage my students in the process by asking questions and balancing the different learning styles (auditory, written, verbal, physical). I can bring structure and focus to students' learning path in a compassionate and safe environment, and help them gain confidence and be successful.
I have always enjoyed helping people learn, from dancing and sailing in my youth, to English and French more recently. For two years I was a tutor at a resource center at a city college, where I helped students on a one on one basis with reading and writing skills. My passion is my teaching. I have used my BS in Chemistry to work in the technical, sales and EH & S fields in industry.
