A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently a Post Graduate student at UCSD. I have been tutoring for the past 3-4 years. I have primarily tutored High School and Undergraduate students. My area of expertise is Math. I can tutor any math up until Advanced Calculus.
I primarily focus on concepts and fundamentals. Most often I try to follow the instructors teaching style so the student can go to the class and does not feel lost. Although sometimes, I try different techniques based on how well the student is doing. I am very patient and I try my best to keep the session interesting and also at times challenging.

As a student at a small Jesuit Liberal Arts college, earning a Bachelors of Arts and Science in English and Biochemistry, I have come to fully understand the way in which each individual can and does influence the education of others. For more than five years, I volunteered as a religious education teacher for my church. I, though responsible for more than three hundred students on some occasions, discovered my passion for teaching. I developed creative ways to keep teenagers engaged and excited about the material.
