Math Teacher Who Gets Results!

My teaching style is a combination of TPR (Total Physical Response), Socratic and Discovery. I believe that involving the student's intellect and creativity is very valuable in arriving at their understanding of the material.
I have taught Math, English, Science and other core courses in California public and private schools for 28 years. A Little Bit About Me...

With three children my oldest 16, my middle child is ten and the baby is 3 I have had the opportunity to help them learn and grow through school.I also sit in class with my fifth grader and help out because of shortage of aides.

I will then explain to them and make it as clear as possible so they can understand better the subject they are having trouble with. Once done with my explanation, I will have them work out problems to show me they really understand the subject. It is very important to be patient with every student because some are fast learners and some are slow learners.
