I have a passion for science and learning. I love to take my passion and pass it on to my children. My method of teaching is to take difficult concepts and break them down into something that is understandable. I will not quit until I feel that the children have a good grasp of the material. I know that children have different ways of learning the material. I like to incorporate visual, hands on, and auditory into all of my lessons.
I am currently a high school science teacher, and I have experience teaching biology, chemistry, environmental science, and forensic science. While in college, I tutored many students in history to help with expenses. I also helped my fellow students with chemistry and biology. A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with children. I especially love teaching them about science and mathematics because I find these subjects so interesting. There are few things more rewarding then seeing it all "click." I like to use diagrams and real life situations to explain subjects. Breaking things down into laymen's terms and reducing intimidation by putting things simply helps most students to grasp difficult topics. I'm a pretty good artist and like drawing diagrams. I also have acquired numerous study aides during my years in college. Most of all, I feel it is important to teach kids HOW to study and not just WHAT to study.
