As a teacher, classroom experiences have made me realize all students do not learn the same fashion. Some students are more aggressive and advanced but there are those who are silent and will not speak out about difficulties understanding competencies. I prefer not to embarrass those students but give them the opportunity to learn one-on-one. While some students have a difficult time with teacher/student ratio, I like to give the option of working with another student who may understand the content and can teach another peer. In addition, students need to connect content with real world examples that I bring to the classroom. Students comprehend what they understand and identify.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked as a teacher assistant, home visitor and a teacher for a combination of 6 years of developing and nurturing the minds of child. This school year as site supervisor I had to tutor the students in algebra,geometry and science. I created a ABC flip book to assist in my students learning the alphabets when I was a home visitor.
I love working with children to help them realize their ability to do more than what is expected and what they are capable of doing. Being a great is accepting that all children do not learn the same and your lesson plan must be diversify to accommodate all students.
