A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy helping students work through tough problems by allowing them to make mistakes and then rework the problem a couple of times the correct way. Since this is my area of expertise, I am able to come up with examples on the fly that will target the areas most troublesome to the student. Mathematics is a field that requires repetition but making that repetition as interesting as possible is a fun challenge. I do not wish to be a teacher by profession but I do enjoy helping individuals or small groups with science and mathematics.
I have formally tutored with Madison College on two occasions lasting a year. I was also Tutoring throughout my time at Edgewood on a drop in basis with any students that came to the math department and could not reach a professor. I recently graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering. I have taken extensive courses in math and science. Math and science are fields that I love and excel at. While in undergrad I was active in many student organizations and volunteer opportunities. I volunteered at science olympiad for a year and also tutored middle school students. I have many younger siblings, all of whom I have helped with homework on several occasions.
There is no better moment that when a child becomes engaged and starts understanding and asking questions. Once a child starts asking questions you know that they are excited about it and want to learn. A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry, and throughout my school days I excelled in math and science and was often asked for help in understanding the class material by my fellow students. I was a teaching assistant for two years, and instructed chemistry laboratories.
