I am hands on and like to have an example ready if needed.
I tutor my mom with college math when I was in middle school. I also helped my cousin when I was in middle school with all her subjects in high school. Individualized learning/teaching for optimal comprehension

I take a hands on material approach to learning/teaching. I feel that young students learn best when they can physically learn, such as through blocks/puzzles/interactive learning devices and other similar approaches. I try to let the student use their hands as much as I can to aid in their learning process. I have always been passionate about communications and teaching. I began tutoring mathematics in High School and during my undergraduate schooling I mentored and tutored introductory university level physics, calculus, chemistry, and organic chemistry. I am currently in graduate school at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine studying Molecular Biology and Genomics but remain informally interested in mathematics and physics.
