In 2007 I gained employment with the Eugene, OR school district as a Classified Substitute where I fulfilled a variety of positions; mostly working with IEP students or assisting in Learning Resource Centers. In 2008 I graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in Chinese and a minor in Asian Studies. I have been teaching English for over 15 years. After I got my BA in Secondary English Education I joined the US Peace Corps. I went to Poland in 1992. I taught at the local high school, the teacher training college and at a nearby hospital. Then I returned to the USA and got my Masters degree in English. I have taught Freshman Composition at the American University of Sharjah in the UAE and I taught at the Intensive English Programs at Colorado State University and at AUS.
