What works for one student may not work with another. I believe all children can learn. A good teacher tries to find each child's individual learning style and accomodate lessons to match it. I also think learning should be fun, so I use a lot of games and other incentives. I am patient, have a good sense of humor, and have age and the experience of being the mother of two twenty-somethings on my side.
