In the past I have used illustrations, acted out scenes from battles, utilized initialisms, and made up songs to help students learn concepts. I completed all of my field work in school 2006-2008 and completed my student teaching in 2009. During this time, I planned and taught lessons in all subjects to grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. Along with teaching lessons, I also tracked students progress, and worked with students one on one to help struggling students succeed. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always believed that each child is truly unique. I However do not believe that all education and forms of it, should be uniform. Working with children with special needs has allowed me to be able to get to know the student and adjust the curriculum so that the child will be able to benefit the most from!

I like to ask questions and get the student involved. I like to get the student engaged as much as possible. I would like to observe the method in which the student obtains the most information and expound on that variable, triggering many senses for better memorization. My teaching style would consist of trying to get the student to understand what they are studying which is considerably better than just simple short term memorization.
I earned a well rounded education from Western Kentucky University with a strong emphasis in math / Engineering. Since College I have pursued the Surveying field. I have recently obtained the status of Professional Land Surveyor with the State of Kentucky.
