After graduating from college with a BA, I began working for an environmental restoration and public education program. We led large volunteer groups sometime of more than 100 people, in local park and forest restoration event, and also led youth groups on 10 day restoration and hiking trips in the national forest. After this I worked for a program that places tutors in schools that are in need, where i tutored K-5 students in reading, led a ESL class of about 10 students, and worked as a teachers assistant in the class room. I believe many schools are not doing enough to promote individualism in students and rather spending far too much time trying to mold students to think and learn one particular way. And study has shown us time and time again that the female and male brain is very different. Or to put it in a more general term, different people think, assess and learn in different ways.
