I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a BA in Spanish Translation and Interpretation and English. During my last two years, my Translation and Interpretation professor selected me to translate and interpret for the Buffalo County Diversion Program. Also during college, I tutored college students through the Center for Academic Success in Spanish and helped the students write and edit their paper (all disciplines). I knew from a young age I wanted to be an educator, and I have taken every opportunity to help students. In high school, I volunteered in 8th grade and 1st grade classrooms. I also taught religious education for 3 years. Throughout my college years, I worked in a variety of classrooms.
