My comments on tutoring German : After learning German all through grade and highschool I then spent a semester in Freiburg, Germany where I breathed, ate and slept all things German. Since then I have been back several times and continue my passion for the language and culture.

I have always had a strong passion for languages and perhaps because of this have done extensive traveling. I have lived in several countries and speak several languages. In my adventures I have found time and again that the easiest, most effortless and fastest way to learn a language is to immerse oneself in that culture. Why? Because it is not enough to remember that "arrivederci" translates to "goodbye." Rather, to really know the inside of a language one must also know and understand its people and the culture it comes from.

Beginning my foreign language education at the age of seven instilled in me a determination to master the French language and then use it to help others. I have earned a bachelor degree in French and graduated summa cum laude in three years. The year after graduation, the graduate school selected me to participate in an exchange program in Paris, France, where I taught university-level English conversation and took classes on medieval and 19th-Century French literature.
