As a daughter of an elementary education teacher, I have been driven by a passion to teach children in areas where they show need. I am in my second year in Northern Arizona University with junior credits. I believe that each child is capable of learning. I want my students to know that I will not give up on them, and that I believe they are all capable of learning and making progress. I believe that students succeed when they are actively involved in their own learning. With three children my oldest 16, my middle child is ten and the baby is 3 I have had the opportunity to help them learn and grow through school.I also sit in class with my fifth grader and help out because of shortage of aides.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is vary diverse when it comes to my students. I do not believe in one teaching style because there will never be just one learning style present with any child. Every child learns a different way in different subjects and I believe in discovering the child's learning styles and basing my teaching around that so they are able to learn to the best of their ability. I like to use different methods to compliment and challenge their learning styles and thought, but I also use what they understand the best to help them learn what they need to know and so they can become independent and learn even beyond that.
