A Little Bit About Me...

As a daughter of an elementary education teacher, I have been driven by a passion to teach children in areas where they show need. I am in my second year in Northern Arizona University with junior credits. My major is in Sociology, but I believe that helps me in pin-pointing the most important aspects of helping children individually in different social settings. I have done tutoring before, but never with a school district. I believe that every child has a unique way of learning and I am capable and flexible in showing them the different ways in which they can learn. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that each child is capable of learning. I want my students to know that I will not give up on them, and that I believe they are all capable of learning and making progress. I believe that students succeed when they are actively involved in their own learning. For this reason, I will use plenty of hands-on activities and manipulatives that will reinforce concepts to students.
