After earning my doctorate in math in 1966, I began teaching at the University of Massachusetts as an assistant professor of math. I taught part-time at Notre Dame, St. Mary's and IUSB. In 1981 my community started Trinity School, and I taught there from 1981 until I retired in 2007.

Kathleen L - Bloomington, IN 47401 (51.7 mi) - Math Tutor - $36.50/hr.
After earning my BS in Elementary Education from Indiana University I took a teaching position with INSCCAP in 2008. My primary responsibility is to assess development and individualized education needs of the children in my class. I continually annecdote my students abilities and based off of those observations I create activities and lessons that focus on the subjects/ skills I see my students struggle with. In 2009 I became a homebound instructor with Monroe County's School System. I am responsible for working with children who hold IEPs and can no longer work successfully in a regular classroom. I have worked with all age groups, but I have found my strength to be with Elemenary School aged children. I feel that each child is different and based off of their temperment and ability I individualize my approach. I feel that children learn best when they are respected and acknowledged. I
