As a recent college graduate, I understand the high expectations and the stress that it can cause a college student, especially coming from a school where most professors expected students to teach themselves concepts. I have earned my BS in Mechanical Engineering which has enabled me to gain understanding in math and science. I have experience in tutoring students in mathematics, physics 1 and thermodynamics. As an engineering student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I have taken many courses in mathematics, however, engineering wasn't my passion. My true passion is working with young people. As a former Director of Education for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Alabama, I have tutored children in mathematics for nearly 10 years!
