Experience Summary
At Athens State University I have be trained to provide your student with the absolute best math education. I have completed the college of education requirements and the college of science requirements to ensure that I am an efficient mathematics instructor.Some of my experience includes: membership into the Kappa Mu Epsilon national honors society; I have recently completed my internship where I was required to teach a for an approximate half semester,and I have tutoring experience with the students of my church youth group.I believe that with my experience, I will be an asset to your student's academic achievement.
Teaching Style
I am very passionate about teaching. I believe that every student, regardless of background, has the ability to learn and excel in mathematics. My teaching style is a cooperative type. I work with the students to help them discover mathematic principles. I have learned that a standard lecture type format does not fit every student, however, research indicates that cooperative learning environments greatly benefit and increase a student's learning. This is why I assimilate this methodology into my teaching style.
