I am an individual driven by the desire to learn. I have a Master's in Education with a triple major, certified to teach two of the three. I am currently pursuing a second Master's in Curriculum Instruction and Development with an emphasis in technology based instruction. I have over 15 years of experience writing college level compositions, research papers, term papers and various other written documents. The first thing I do with any new student is identify his or her learning style so that I may incorporate those specific strategies into my lesson for an effective and personalized learning experience. My lessons are very interactive, and a main aspect is to nurture critical thinking. After setting up a situation, I will pose problems for the student to solve. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy pretented not to know the work myself which allows them to help me. It helps me to see what they already know and to see how much I need to help them know. I use this approach to boost selfesteem in students.
I'm currently working for Huntsville City Schools Extended Day Program. I've been working there for 3 years. In those 3 years, I also worked in the work study program, working at the Richard Showers Center's after school program. While, at the Showers Center, I was placed with an ADHD and Dyslexic student. My duties included, helping him find different ways to learn the material and I went through a series of repetitional exercises. I continued to tutor him for 1 year.
