I graduated from high school in 2003 with honors and graduated in 2007 from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. Throughout my schooling I have attended multiple classes in reading/writing, science, history, computer/I.T., foreign language, creative arts, business and math. For two years I was involved with the Big Brother program where I worked with an autistic student. I’m currently employed at US Bank where I work as a mutual fund analyst. I’m also on the training committee at US Bank where I’ve been gaining real world experience helping others. I enjoy teaching people subjects that I understand. I hold a bachelor's degree in art education and a master's degree in arts management. With these degrees, I have taught in the public schools and have held positions in the education departments of several major museums. I have taught a wide variety of course and all age levels. I am certified to teach both visual arts and computers, business, and marketing. I am an art teacher in the Chicago Public Schools currently. As a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a BS in Elementary Education, I received my first teaching position as a special education teacher in the Rockford School District, 205. After two years, I moved into a 6th grade position, teaching Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. I received my Master's degree from Walden University in Middle Level Education with areas of concentration in Language Arts and Social Studies. I went on to teach 7th and 8th grade Language Arts.
